I think the auction thing is a good idea. The only problem is getting people to donate animals or supplies. I will bring it up at the board meeting and see what happens.As far as bringing Jeff B out here, that too is a good idea if we can afford it. We are already talking about bringing John Hollister out to do a talk in July, but that's not finalized yet.
The reason we had a breeders forum is that our speaker for March cancelled 2 weeks before the meeting. That doesn't give us enough time to advertise and put their name in the newsletter. We cannot afford to pay a speaker each month, unless we get more paying members. So if you know anyone that's into herps bring them down and get them involved!!!
