Speaking of herping in San Diego, just yesterday morning I witnessed a male glauerti crossing a sandy area off of Spring Valley, and just a few paces from that I saw a stunning Female Glauerti!! Talk about your first timers luck!!!! Well we continued South and I spotted a stump tailed bearded dragon far from home. It reminded me of the piranaha tailed bearded dragon produced exclusively at SouthCoast reptiles. It quickly ran under a hidebox(I mean bush) Directly down the hall I saw a adult pair of Taiwann Beauty Ratsnakes, who were calmly reposed on a stump, they were evidently just fresh out of brumation!! I didn't atempt to collect or capture any of them, choosing to enjoy them in their natural habitat instead!! With our hot days and cool nights herping is alive and well in San Diego!!!!! LOL
