That sounds like a good window of opportunity for a club trip! These frogs are not at all uncommon and are definitely not endangered. Heck, they are known to be living in at least 28 different counties! I wouldn't want to go out frog gigging but if anybody wants to get a field collecting trip together this spring, count me in!
