I live in El Salvador, and here we have a lot of Mesaspis moreleti, and they are like a Mabuya, a little skink with little legs, the male usually is brown with white spots in the back and hake a yellow venter, and the female have white venter, the Central America alligator lizard, is not the Mesaspis, it is the Abronia, and there are like 9 species of Abronia in Central America.
If you want send me the picture and i tell you what specie is youre lizard.
