Lack of responses on board

I am new to the board and posted the request for info about boa cage size. While I am surprised that no one here can help, I am not particularly disappointed because I participate in some other boards and I am well aware that some posting s go unaddressed. However, as I scan down the message board, i am disappointed that so many, actually most, postings have 0 responses. What is the point of participating here if you do not want to engage others and have everyone benefit and enjoy the dialogue?
