HERP GUIDE BOOK WANTED for PERU, help me out please.

This summer, 2002, I am going to Peru and I love herping. Rather then just trying to catch anything that slithers without knowing a name or toxicity, I would rather be able to identify what it is that is biting me. If your from Peru, and know of any books down there, will I be able to find one in Lima or Iquitos? If your from the U.S., where are there any books, I can't find any. I am a student at UF, my email is reefjungle@hotmail.com if anyone wants to share a story or information of Peru. I appreciate all your help.
