A quick,but, by no means "all inclusive" run down: Bushmaster,Terciopelo(Fer-De-Lance),Eyelash Viper,Palm Viper,(actually there are many variations within the "Bothrops" genus,so I'm sure I've missed some!) Godman's Viper,Hognose Viper,Jumping Viper,Neo-tropical Coral snake,Cantil,Sea snake,Cascavel(tropical rattlesnake,also called "Cascabel")....Costa Rica is definately a place to break the old habit of"grab first,identify later"!!!
