Unfortunately there aren't any good field guides for Mexico, just some ID keys, try Dr. Gustavo Casas' "Clave Para La Identificacion de Reptiles y Anfibios de Mexico".

What institution do you do research for? I study herpetology at the National University of Mexico, there are a lot of people in my department that could help you.
