If the questions is regarding the snake being venomous or not the answer
is no. The only rattlers in Ohio are the massaasuga and timber rattlers.
The massasauga rarely reaches over two ft and the timber (whitch can get 5ft plus)
is virtually been wiped out in Ohio. Plus it dosent match the discription. It was probaly
some sort of pine or rat snake. Hope this helps.
