I believe that the animal you make reference to is properly identified as Bothrops Atrox mistakenly call the mainland Fer-de-Lance, Atrox grows to about 7 - 8 feet lng, and quite a pian in the ass to handle in captivity, and should be no easier in the wild, be advised, their venom is extremely toxic Hemolyitic I believe that how is is spelled, any way don'y get bat, and have a ball down there.
