Lo que dice Victor es cierto. Al congelarlos pierdes algunos de los nutrientes contenidos en las presas, aunque tambien eliminas algunos parásitos. Tambien es buena idea tener algunos ratones congelados para las emergencias.

Para descongelarlos es mas facil sumergirlos en agua tibia, asi se descongelara mas pronto. Solo tienes que asegurarte que no le queden partes frias para que no se vayan a enfermar.
