Thanks to everyone who gave advise on finding my ksb, especially Nicodemus! The flour trick described in the article you recomended worked like a charm. Due to tracks in the flour across my study door I knew my snake was in the study. When I came home from errands today I found fresh tracks out of the study and fresh tracks going into my bedroom. It took me about 1 minute to find him behind some boxes behind my dresser. Had it not been for the flour trick I don't know that I would have found him. He's now safe in his tank and I'm making sure he can't slide his lid open again! Thanks again to everyone!!
