Is my Rosy starting to shed? Request for help.

Today when I took my rosy out, she was kinda snippy and looked a more dull almost dusty color (like someone touched her up with a big powder puff thing you see on the movies). Her eyes dont seem as bright, but not exactly incredibly cloudy.
My guess is she's about to shed. This sound right?

If she is about to shed (and she is probably about due), this will be my very first. Anything I should keep in mind besides leaving her alone for a few days?

I read somewhere, something about a humidity box (basically a tupperware container with a hole in it and some moist paper towels inside. Should I use something like this?

Any other things I should be aware of?
