: Your setup sounds fine!My hot spot is actually in the 90 degree range.Cool side in the mid to upper 70's.You are going in the right direction changing over to rats!All my babies start on rat pinks,and my 10 month old is feeding on large rat fuzzies.Sounds like he has decent body thickness.You should be fine.Some animals progress alittle slower than others.
