My miliaris were at it hot and heavy yesterday as well. Oddly, I have bred this species for several years now and this is the first time I have seen them mating. Courtship yes, but mating, no.
Now I have to watch for the date of ovulation to try and figure out when she will give birth. I have been trying to narrow down this ovulation/parturition length for several years but keep missing the 24 hours of ovulation in this species. Maybe this year?
If you see the ovulation in your female nogaiorum, could you keep a record of the number of days between ovulation and birth? I would love to have another data point.
