I have a BRB that has torn herself before and what I did was used a neosporin CREAM...not the petroleum based ointment. (I use it myself as I react to the ointment) But the next day you could barely see the spot. Another time I gave her a bath in very dilute povidine iodine and water. Just to clean it up and of course put her back into an immaculate cage. Which is easy on paper towel.
