:Yes, tape inside the cage. I should listen to my gut more often - it didn't feel right. I've been SO upset about this. Over the years, with all the animals I've had, have never made such a big mistake and done something that ended up hurting one of them. I hope she heals quickly and will be okay.

::I have applied Neosporin to snakes and turtles with injuries, all with excellent results. So, the old duct tape inside the cage, eh? Everyone learns the hard way doing that (I did too.)
