Hi
I donīt know if the mood of cresteds infuences their color but if it does then dark would mean stressed.
Generally dark colors are "sress" colors but may also be mistaken by dark colors caused by cooler temps (whitch is the case in most cases and is normal).
I have seen this (dark "stress" colors) in tockays and Vietnameese goldens. "Agressive colors" would be bright with more contrast than usual.

::For Crested Geckoes, are light colors 'happy' colors, or are they the colors of a stressed gecko?
:To be honest, I have no idea what a stressed crestie looks like. Maybe I'm just lucky with mine, or maybe they don't show a stess colour. However, I do know they change while sleeping - usually it's a lighter shade of the colour they show while up and about.
