If you have spanish moss in your enclosure you might want to read this. It might not be a problem with adult cresteds but it seems like it would be with younger ones. I use a back wall of spanish moss, it looks nice and keeps humidity up but I had a bit of scare tonight. One of my little ones caught a cricket off the the spanish moss wall and I assume he got a piece of spanish moss along with it. Well by the time I noticed a him struggling to get what seemed like a small piece of it out of his mouth I scooped him up and helped him out by pulling the piece of moss out of his mouth for him. The piece was 5 inches long! My crested is only about 3 inches total so I assume this might have leed to impaction and possibly killed the little guy. So if you have spanish moss you might want to take it out. Just a warning.
