In my experience, there's always exceptions to the rule(s), so there probably isn't a 100% guarantee. Chances are pretty good that two males will fight, though.

:If I purchase 2 unsexable juvenile cresties and they turn out to be 2 males, will they fight? The tank is 50 gallons.......
