:Similarities-
:-both nocturnal
:-both get about 8 inches
:-both geckos
:-both breed easily in captivity
:-both are even tempered and allow handling
:Differences-
:-cresteds require moderate humidity all the time, leos only need a humid hide box
:-cresteds dont need heat lights, and leos do
:-cresteds need a vertically oriented cage, while leos need a horizontally oriented one
:-cresteds are a better display in my honest opionion, due to the colors. Sure leos come in different morphs, but none can match a good cresteds (in my opionion, please dont flame me for it :)
:Thats all i can think of at the moment, hope it helps!

::could someone compare crested to leos for me. i really love leos, and i would like to start with cresteds. i dont need anyone to tell me the eyelid & toes stuff either. just in like temperment, and ease of care etc.

Crested have a prehensal tail (that once it falls,it won't return).
Leos don't. =o)
