You are right Miner-all is just what it’s name says (besides the D3). That’s why you can use it more often, although I wouldn’t leave it in a dish 24/7. I pretty much do the same thing you do alternating between Miner-All, Herptivite, and Gecko Performance Plus (from herpnutriton.com). Use Miner-All during the week and Herptivite or Gecko Plus on the weekend. This way everything is covered in case any of the supplements are missing anything or contain too much of it. Nothing beats variety =).

CaCO3 is not made from bone. It is mined from limestone, which is why I favor bone meal slightly more. It is a more natural source for animals (when they eat other animals…lol). Although it can also be found in coral, oyster shells, etc. But you should never support that stuff it’s killing our tropical reefs. Bone meal powder is very common she must have misunderstood you. Just check any large vitamin or health food store.
