:Bowl feeding is something I tried a few years ago. It helps to keep track of what they are eating, prevents any accidental ingestion of substrate, no wasted crickets hiding and dying, vitamins stay on longer, etc. I have suggested it quite a few times on the forum and for the most part I think people have had good experiences with it. Small dog crocks work the best IMO. You usually have to pinch one of the back legs to prevent jumping, unless the animal quickly comes to feed. Just place the bowel near an over hanging branch so its contents can be easily seen from above. In a few days your crested should figure it out. Before you know it they will be perched over it waiting to be fed =).
