I am not disagreeing with you but I use Pothos, Ficus and Hibiscus as well as fake vines for my chams and it really helps the humidity. I guess my problem with the lighting is that without any light the cage is extremely dark. I was worried about not being able to see the crested in it. The temps are no problem I mainly need the light for visibility not heat. I know that they are nocturnal I just wanted a little light during the day.
