To Bill or anyone with CGD/baby food experience

Is there anyway besides the ice cube method to use for storing CGD for my gecko. I mix it every day to feed him but it such a small amount that its hard to do, since I just have one.
Oh and is there a way to lets say put more of the CGD/baby food in the food bowl and leave it for more than one day, because whatever he doesnt eat gets hard be it CGD or baby food and I assume this is no good so I just have to change it every night, which wastes allot and gets annoying to clean the bowl.
