:This is a bit off topic, but I really want to say a few things. It is extremely hard to convey feelings, points, ideas, etc. via e-mail and/or posts since there are so many variables involved. For example, when I am having a bad day, my e-mails or posts tend to be short, without detailed explanations. Some may perceive the replies as apathetic or, simply, rude. When I feel strongly about something, I tend to put the blinders on and disregard opposing views.

:Everyone on this forum has a completely different background (demographic, skill level, etc.), but we all share a love for geckos (Rhacodactylus in this case). Things would be different if we had one big Rhac. party line, but our phone bills would be huge.

:"You're an idiot!" posts have become far too common on the forums, and I've made my share of highly opinionated replies. I will make a genuine effort to respect the opinions of others and offer advice in a kind manner. So many people have e-mailed me saying that they are afraid to post on this and others forums due to the increasing negativity. I am going to make an effort, and I hope all of you guys will as well.

:I want to publicly apologize to Allen Repashy for our little "dispute" a few weeks ago. He has always been kind to me, and I deeply respect his views.
