You've definitely given me incentive to hold back some of Lil Red's more promising looking kids. I almost got a striped male auriculatus, but he was part of a pair, and no chance of splitting them up, so I passed. I figure they'll be happier together, and I didn't have room for two more at the time. Gosh darn it all.
