You must keep in mind that in order for you to stop the cresteds from breeding you will need to drop their temps down to app. 55F to 60F. At that low of a temp. the cresteds will not feed as much, therefore will not gain much weight. They will actually loose weight when being cooled. I would not recommend cooling them beyond 3 months (I would suggest only two months). The best choice would be to seperate and keep them at room temperature (if you keep them at room temps.they will continue to feed and you can put them together whenever you like) Thanks
