Saw Crested throw up....worried?????

My little guy (baby, maybe 4weeks or so) was sitting on a leaf, then I saw him open his mouth and hack up one or two baby crickets (pinhead)with some babyfood mixed in. I am worried, do I have something set up wrong?

A couple people have mentioned to get rid of the repi-bark...is that for health reasons or just clean up, or so they can get their food easier?
