The Rubbermaid’s are around 24”L x 13H” x 18”W. They are perfect for keeping a single adult. For now keep him in the jar or put him in a small critter keeper. As he grows move him up to slightly larger cages. Eventually you’ll hit the Rubbermaid around the age of 6-7 months. I still disagree about the diet choice. Baby food meat/fruit mixes can very well sustain crested geckos, but they grow poorly. I personally only use it when absolutely necessary. The CGD should be much better, but I still think insects and a little fruit are the best choice. They grow larger, faster and are healthier IMO. Maybe after I have tried the CGD with my stubborn feeders I will change my opinion, but right now I stick with what has worked great for me. However that choice is up to you. Best of luck with the new gecko.
