Breeding in different housing?? What triggers them ??

I have witnessed for the third time that my Rhacs are breeding on the exact same day when I put them in a different housing.
The strange thing is that these same pairs already were housed together in faunaboxes for over six months. The new housings are about 6x larger than the faunaboxes.
I know that the temperature can't be of influence here because the room is heated and not the housings.
I want to know what triggers them to breed.
Could it have something to do with territorial behaviour?
