What do you mean by a “small jaw”, does he have an over or under bite? Since you just got them it may take a few days for them to feel comfortable and start eating. “Fatting” up is the wrong term, a fat gecko is just as unhealthy as a skinny gecko. As long as they are eating regularly on the correct diet they should be fine.
