baby food/yogurt

Has anybody used yogurt instead of baby food with crested geckos? I've been alternating between the two recently (using natural yogurt with fruit) and my new babies seem to be growing at a faster rate than my adult male did. I'm still waiting for the crested gecko diet to hit the stores around here.
I got the idea of using yogurt instead of baby food from a day gecko breeder who uses it all the time.
Any thoughts?
