With the little guys, I spoon feed them their fruit. I use the tester spoons I got from Baskin-Robins many years ago, one level spoonful of them is about a meal for a crestie up to 3 months or so. Younger ones might not even take as much, which is okay, since they also have crickets. Just hold a spoon up to their lips, get a tiny dab on them to get the gecko licking. Then it's just a matter of keeping the spoon close enough to make tongue contact. It doesn't take long for them to start deliberately licking the spoon.
If you leave a small dish of it out, you might not even notice any eaten if the gecko is still small - they don't eat a lot of it in one meal, so the tell-tale lick marks might not be seen easily.
Right now I've got 19 crested and auric babies to feed - takes me about 45 - 60 minutes.
