:You do not need to change a thing. Crested geckos will breed year round (but that doesn’t mean they should), the normal season in captivity ranges between Jan and Sept. Just introduce the female into the male’s enclosure, give them a few weeks (up to a 2-3 months if there are no problems) and remove her. She will lay 2 eggs every 30-45 days in a provided nest box. Clutch number can be anywhere from 3-8 depending on age and health. You may provide a dish of calcium 24/7 in the female’s enclosure, bone meal usually works fine, and they will take what they need from it in addition to dusting food items. Sexing cannot be any easier, males have a very large bulge at the base of their tail, and females do not. You really can’t miss it. I will try and post comparison pics when I get home this afternoon.
