ok i did as you said but cant seem to find any shed on his feet, i had to use magnifying glass to make sure but dont really see signs of shed, all i see are sort like ripple patterns on his feet. If this is any clue or something ive noticed that his toes partially curl up a tiny bit but not always when he is walking.
does curly toes mean anything???

:Place the gecko in question in a small clear plastic container. Look underneath him and see if you can see any old shed stuck to the bottom of his feet. If so you are going to have to gently remove it with a damp q-tip. Just be very careful. As far as the humid hide box, don’t worry. They rarely use it, the point is that it is there if they need it. Just spray the cage once in the evening and thats all the should need.
