Funny cage problem

Today we go to the cage and I can't find my crestie. We realize that the climbing structures we bought have a hollow inside (which we knew) which can be accessed when the structure is sitting in the cage upright (which we didn't know). So we think she has climbed up in it.

When we go to try to feed the male, I pick up a crestie from inside a planter, and it is the female!!! Turns out that she must have climbed up to the screen and climbed over the divider wall and into the other side! The divider wall goes flush to the top of the tank, but the screen is loose enough that the wall can still be traversed!

SO - either the dividing of the cage was worthless, OR we have to find a way to safely weigh down the screen for the entire width of the cage/divider!

Ideas?

Jolee
