This is by no means a controlled experiment, but it will help you understand what happens to a mealworm when it enter the stomach of a reptile. Take a small amount(just enough to cover) of vinegar and ad a mealworm. Now time how long before it stops moving. Now keep in mind that stomach juices have a much lower ph than the vinegar.
