::::would believe in such an absurd myth. It is not possible, nor will it ever be possible. Unless a magical mealworm fairy makes it happen, it won't. There are some things that are debatable, but this is not one of them. Your friend isn't as knowledgable as you think he is. This is just a silly urban myth by someone who saw an already dead lizard and a mealworm that was chewing on it (mealies will eat anything) and deduced that the mealworm ate its way out of the lizard, thus killing it. This is and always will be false.
