Those are actually just frontpage rollovers. They do require the browser to download a couple of applet files, but those files are pretty small.

I think what's delaying that process, is the fact that I goofed and left the main home page graphic (with five pics) at over 150 kb. I'm going to see what it looks like after I compress it to about 50 kb tonight.

In any case, I don't like the little grey boxes that appear a split second before those applets load, so I just wrote a javascript to replace that stuff. Now I just have to find time to install it on all the pages. =)

Thanks for pointing that out though.

:The problem isn't that the pictures are too big. It's that you're using cumbersome applets for image rollovers where JavaScript would work just fine. If you substituted js for the applets the page would load infinitely quicker.
