Trouble is, if they have twins, that means a build up of pus in clacium sacs, which can lead to various metabolic problems. Then animal's head will probably explode. Sorry.
: I know that not many people out there are keeping, let alone breeding these animals, but I have a question to offer to anyone who has advice. I came under the assumption that R. trachyrhynchus produced one baby, annually to bi-annually, and that twins were a rare but possible scenario. I was reading the Rhac book, and here's a direct quote, (reference towards R. trachyrhynchus) "Twins are the rule but single babies are born now and then." (42)
:My question is, was this written with a loack of proper information, and they simply assumed? Or am I totally wrong in my assumption?
:Thanks a lot
