I've noticed the cost issue coming up in this forum more and more. I have been researching and I am planning to set up a tank for a couple of crested geckos. The only thing making me blanch is the cost of the animals in shops. The cheapest I have seen them run is $60, more than I am willing to pay. $50 is my cut off point. Usually they are more expensive $90-110. Maybe I'll stick to house geckos.
::I assume you're talking Crested Geckos so I'll give you my opinions on cost. Normals should run about $40-75. All other morphs usually run between $50-150 depending on the individual geckos looks. I've never seen a baby go for more than $150, but I'm sure it happens with some really exceptionally colored geckos.
::thnx
