:You really can't judge Cresteds by their baby colors I guess. Here is a pic of Gryffindor taken the day I bought her. She was less than a month old and the breeder thought she might be a male (hence the non feminine name). She was not much longer than my bandaid and I'd hoped she'd grow up to be red...

:This photo was taken yesterday. She is 6 months old now. This is her sleepy daytime light phase. She varies from this to a dark brown and anywhere in between.

:I love her very much even though she didn't turn out to be a boy and didn't turn out to be red. She's super sweet and I like all her spots. I bought her from PM Gecko and they made no promises about her sex or her coloring. They were very honest that you just can't tell with babies. I'm just thrilled with her just the way she is.
