I have incubated my crested and leachy eggs in my incubator within a range of 79-82F, the cresties have hatched within 51-53 days. Thanks Jack
:I've got a clutch of R. auriculatus eggs from Sept 30/02. Looks like they're going to hatch soon.
:All previous clutches were a bit disappointing - only one egg out of each hatched (except one clutch where both hatched, but one was extremely weak). I'd been keeping the eggs warmer than ciliatus eggs, since I'd been told aurics prefer warmer temps and eggs should be kept warmer too. The egg(s) would hatch around 60-75 days, compared to the ciliatus eggs which routinely go over 90 days, even over 100 isn't strange.
:This current clutch was kept right beside the ciliatus eggs, temps around 65-70 F. Both eggs are still going great, and the last few days have been twitching when I checked on them :)))))
:I'd say they'll be hatching in the next day or so, if previous experience is any clue.
:I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed auric eggs to be tricky?
