2 females should be fine, but monitor them just in case. Color should not matter. It would be better to buy hatchlings, because a female will cost you atleast $150, while a hatching would cost around $50. A glass tank is fine, i have had my male in a glass tank for over a year and he is perfect.Hope that helped.

:Okay I was ganna wait and go to a reptile show and then get a new crested gecko or 2, I wanted to know if i could get 2 diffrent colored geckos that are both females, can they live in the same cage and all and not try to kill each other or fight over food and what not if I have 2 diffrent hide boxes and whatnot. Also. i have read that they need and all screen inclosure and not a tank because a tank doesn't let in enough air flow, then i havbe seen stuff that says that a tank if fine. What should I go with???

:Please let me know, thanks
