::Hey all :) I was thinking of getting a pair of crested geckos, and I've been told by some that a ten gallon is large enough for a pair of them, and then been told by others that a ten gallon is far too small for two cresties. What tank size would you recommend, and what other types of geckos would you recommend that might live more comfortably in a ten gallon tank?

:
::Thanks for any advice!

:For a pair of adults a 29-30 gal is good, a twenty will do but it will get cramped if they get large. It is best to keep your cresties alone as with most geckos. I keep mine in a 1.2 combo with no problem as do 3 others in the Herp society I belong to. The tank I use is a 45 gal high. Heres a pic and a link to some other photos of ours.

If it is best to keep them seperate, why don't you. I am going to breed mine but everybody says to keep them seperate even thought they will have come from the same enclosure(at the reptile store) Thanks
