That is about the amount of blue that some of the cresteds in Reptiles Magazine had.(I have that issue)Only there was one pictured with a few other morphs that was almost solid blue, except for some tan on the sides. If it was bad lighting or angle wouldn't the other morphs in the picture be somewhat "washed" in blue, too? The collors of the other cresteds came throug verry bright...yellow, than, some white. It just makes me wonder. Don't some breeders keep thier exceptional stuff to themselves awhile? I'm not positive they exist as solid blue like the one in the magazine, but it looked pretty darn real. I'm thinking they'd need photo morphing software for that...oh well.
That gecko is beautiful. Does it belong to you? Also, do these crested collors come from sellective breeding, or are they morphs? What are some of their genetics? Do you think selective breeding could make the blues like the one you pictured a more solid color like "mythed-blue?"
