:It is possible for some cresteds to cosistantly produce a certain or near certain color. Some can produce yellow, but that can be a wide spectrum. I have read of some that will produce a certain color no matter what. Many breeders in Germany and other places are producing animals that they say will always produce the same color. It is possible by selective breeding to produce animals that will yeild young that look the same over and over, but this may be awhile yet since cresteds have been only bred in larger numbers lately. Animals like these will probably sell for well over what they are normally worth. But it is always possible for new mutations. I'd love to see a leucistic cresty, or even an albino. Those would be really awesome animals. Really though, I'd say we are far from getting large numbers of cresties that will consistantly produce desired morphs, colors, or patterns.

::i hope she produces some nice ones too. What do you get when you mix an orange with a yellow? I know cresties are polymorphic, but don't the parents have some influnce?
