:Anyway, I was wondering why are the members of this genus becoming so popular? Is it that they are handlable or easy to take care of? I am wondering why this genus deserves its own forum.

Rhacs, and cresties in particular are going to take over the pet world soon. They're the ones who will give the leopard gecko a tough time holding on to first place in gecko popularity. Consider them to be wall climbing leopards as far as pet attributes go - just as easy or even easier than leopards, personality to boot.
Since there were so many posts on the general gecko forum dealing with cresties, Starmom got us a dedicated forum. Cresties are the most popular, but the other Rhacodactylus species aren't far behind.
Try one.... betcha you can't stop with just one. :)
