hey there every body! I have noticed a ferver of anticipation surrounding this mythical TREX diet. Upon advise of mike coscia, I have made my own rhac food and I advise everyone to do likewise. All I did was mix a couple kinds of baby food together (3 fruit, 1 CHICKEN!) with some mashed over-ripe banana (the smell of this is rhac cologne) and added a few fruit-fly adults and larva. Then I made ice-cubes of it all and filled a tupperware in my freezer. One and a half cubes is enough for ONE feeding of my 4 adults and 2 babies. I simply thaw it out, mix in a touch of vitamins, yoghurt (once in a way) and crushed cuttle bone. They are putting on wieght, and love the crap!!! Also this lessens the need for 'live prey' which I still give them as treats and activity. By this i mean i give them half or less of the live prey I usually did, but in a more creative way. I place 'crawlers' like crix and mealies in empty baby food jars and hide them around the enclosure for them to search out, or I give them flies and moths to chase as they fly around.
Long story short, this food blend (which I am sure many of you use) is probably BETTER then the t-rex and probably cheaper (wait and see) and furthermore you can make different flavours of cubes etc. to enrich your gecko's captive lives.

ANYTHING FOR MY GECKO
